Data Declaration
Last Updated: 25 June 2026
Applies to: diljitdosanjh.com and its checkout and stores
This Cookie Policy explains how Famous Studios Inc. (the "Company", "we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on diljitdosanjh.com (the "Site"), what choices you have, and how to exercise them. It supplements, and should be read with, our Privacy Policy.
3.1 What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They let a site recognise your device, remember your actions and preferences, and understand how the site is used. We also use related technologies, including:
- Pixels (also called tags or beacons) — tiny pieces of code that record whether a page or message was viewed and that help measure and (in future) deliver advertising.
- Local storage — data stored by your browser to keep features working, such as your cart.
- Software development kits (SDKs) — used within any future mobile app to provide similar functionality.
We refer to all of these together as "cookies" in this Policy.
3.2 Categories of Cookies We Use
We group cookies into the following categories. Where the law requires consent, only necessary cookies are set before you make a choice.
Strictly necessary cookies
These are essential for the Site to function. They enable core features such as security, network management, load balancing, maintaining your shopping cart, and completing checkout. Because the Site cannot work properly without them, they are not subject to consent, and you cannot switch them off through our cookie controls.
Functional cookies
These remember choices you make — such as language, region, currency, and login state — to give you a more personalised experience. Disabling them may make parts of the Site less convenient to use.
Preference cookies
These store settings that tailor how the Site looks and behaves for you, such as display preferences and previously viewed items. They are used to improve usability rather than to advertise.
Analytics cookies
These help us understand how visitors find and use the Site so we can improve it. They tell us, on an aggregated basis, which pages are popular, how visitors move through the Site, and where problems occur. We use Google Analytics 4 for this purpose.
Marketing cookies
These are used to measure the effectiveness of our marketing and, where you consent and once activated, to deliver and personalise advertising on third-party platforms. This category covers future technologies such as Google Ads, Meta Pixel, and TikTok Pixel.
3.3 The Specific Technologies on Our Site
Shopify
Our store runs on Shopify, which sets necessary cookies to operate the storefront, secure checkout, maintain your session and cart, and detect fraud. Shopify may also set functional and analytics cookies that support the shopping experience.
Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
We use Google Analytics 4 to measure traffic and understand how the Site is used. GA4 sets analytics cookies and collects technical and usage data described in the Privacy Policy. Where required, GA4 loads only after you consent.
Google Tag Manager (GTM)
We use Google Tag Manager to manage the tags that load technologies such as analytics and, in future, advertising. GTM itself is a tag-management container; the tags it deploys are governed by the categories and consent rules described here.
Future technologies
We may later add Google Ads, Meta Pixel, and TikTok Pixel to measure and deliver advertising, along with email and SMS measurement pixels. These are marketing technologies and, where the law requires, will be set only with your consent. This Policy and our cookie banner will be updated to list them when they are activated; the inventory in Appendix B is maintained for this purpose.
3.4 Consent and Consent Mode v2
Where the law requires consent for non-essential cookies — including in the EU, the UK, and other regions with similar rules — we present a cookie banner when you first visit the Site and on a recurring basis as required. You can accept all cookies, reject all non-essential cookies, or choose by category.
We use Google Consent Mode v2. This means that Google tags (including GA4 and any future Google Ads tags) adjust their behaviour based on the consent you give. If you do not consent to analytics or advertising cookies, the relevant tags either do not run or run in a limited, privacy-preserving way that does not set the non-essential cookies, consistent with the consent signals we send. Until you make a choice in regions that require prior consent, non-essential tags are held back.
3.5 How to Withdraw or Change Your Consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time by opening the "Cookie settings" (or "Privacy preferences") link available in the Site footer and on the cookie banner. Updating your choices takes effect going forward. Withdrawing consent does not affect cookies that were set while you had consented, but you can clear those through your browser (Section 3.6).
In California and other US states that recognise opt-out preference signals, we honour the Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signal as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and of targeted advertising. See the Privacy Policy for more on these rights.
3.6 Managing Cookies in Your Browser
Most browsers let you view, manage, block, and delete cookies through their settings. You can usually find these controls in the "Privacy" or "Security" section of your browser. You can also set your browser to warn you before accepting cookies. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Site, including checkout, from working.
Useful resources are provided by each browser's help pages and by industry tools such as the Network Advertising Initiative and Your Online Choices opt-out pages for advertising cookies.
3.7 International Compliance
We design our cookie practices to meet the requirements of the regions we serve, including the EU ePrivacy rules and GDPR, the UK's PECR and UK GDPR, and US state privacy laws such as the CCPA/CPRA. Because requirements differ by location, the banner you see and the default behaviour of non-essential tags may vary depending on where you are. In all cases, strictly necessary cookies operate to keep the Site working, and you can review your choices at any time.
3.8 Changes and Contact
We may update this Cookie Policy as our technologies and legal requirements change. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, in a refreshed banner. A current technical inventory is kept in Appendix B — Cookie Inventory Template.
